Summary

Abstract: This map displays the total future oil resources world wide along with total world oil assumption. In this context, future oil is the sum of remaining reserves and undiscovered resources. The source of the oil consumption data is from the Energy Information Association (EIA) website published in 2003.
 
Purpose: This map is intended to display a general summary of future oil resources worldwide.
